Id as generated value with sequence is not working

Hi,

So, I have this simple entity:

@MappedEntity(value = "user_")
public class User {

    @Id
    @GeneratedValue(value = GeneratedValue.Type.SEQUENCE)
    private Long id;

    private String username;

    private String password;

    private String hash;

    private String email;

    // ... assume getters & setters
}

A simple repository:

@JdbcRepository(dialect = Dialect.POSTGRES)
public interface UserRepository extends CrudRepository<User, Long> {
}

And this simple test:

@MicronautTest
public class UserRepositoryTest {

    @Inject
    private UserRepository userRepository;

    @Test
    public void test() {
        final var user = new User();

        userRepository.save(user);
    }

}

I have the following table and sequence :

create sequence "user_seq" increment by 1;
create table "user_"
(
  "id"                 bigint default nextval('user_seq'::regclass)    not null,
  "username"           varchar(255)                                    ,
  "email"              varchar(255)                                    ,
  "password"           varchar(4000)                                   ,
  "hash"               varchar(32)
);

And using the 1.0.0.BUILD-SNAPSHOT to test the new support added for sequences in JdbcRepository but every time is returning the next error:

So it seems the id is not being fill, the sql query generated is INSERT INTO user_(username, email, hash, password, id) values ($1, $2, $3, $4, $5)

Am I doing something wrong? Or maybe is an issue? I followed this example https://github.com/micronaut-projects/micronaut-data/blob/master/data-jdbc/src/test/groovy/io/micronaut/data/jdbc/postgres/PostgresSequenceSpec.groovy#L58 😃

Yeah so we moved to JFrog snapshots since Micronaut 1.2.5 so you are using an old snapshot that is probably a month old. See https://docs.micronaut.io/latest/guide/index.html#usingsnapshots
