Unable to stop task via Package Manager console

Was just trying out few commands in the hope that wrong command will guide me to correct my syntax. But the command is hung now and also I am not able to stop the task in Package Manager Console.
Repro steps:
- Open
Package Manager console - run
tfx build show - The command just hangs (may be because command is wrong)
- I cannot stop the command via stop button in
Package Manager Console
I can stop other tasks (like nuget commands) in the package manager console window, so I assume it is not the issue with the window.
