Insiders build no longer active
See original GitHub issueThis is a big one. The insiders build was expected to have a -dev flag at the end of the version in package.json. We somehow forgot to have the -dev flag back in package.json in the master branch, due to which insiders build no longer has that flag.
So for all of the users insiders setting is now turned to “off” (because insiders build is recognized as stable, and setting was set to “weekly” or “daily” — Which is a conflict). So no one is using the insiders build anymore.
SOLUTION
- fix the version in master
- force a new daily/weekly insiders build
- ask users (twitter? blog?) to set their “insiders” setting back to “daily”/“weekly”
