See original GitHub issueJust normal build, install and test cycle used on building package from non-root account:
- “setup.py build”
- “setup.py install --root </install/prefix>”
- "pytest with PYTHONPATH pointing to setearch and sitelib inside </install/prefix>

Great news! I need to do some research on how to filter out the warnings, so I’ll do that in a separate issue: #823. And thank you for your work on the rpm package (and I’ll release the next version 1.11.4 very soon)
