Update ReadMe to reflect current supported Accessory Categories
See original GitHub issueHello,
I had a look on the HomeKit Simulator available as additional download for Apple Xcode. May be it is a good idea to update the ReadMe.md to reflect the most recent Accessory Types available in HomeKit to prevent confusions whats available and supprted:
Don’t know whether I’m wrong but the Supported Types mentioned in the current README-md referring to Accessory Categories and not to service categories, right?
Btw.: most interesting to me since I’m following your conversations regarding video streaming from cameras, I wondering why Apple handles special Accessory Type for IP Camera
and Video Doorbell
There must be something special with it since they only appear in the drop down list above if it is explicitly clicked on it…

@Shaquu think the problem is apple hasn’t updated that doc since 2017. Now it becomes <2 years old. I tried to find an updated version on developer.apple.com but the still publishing this particular version there.
@djiwondee if you have more intel on changes in Services, Accessories or Characteristics then please go here and create Issue on that or even make a PR with a change. I would not like to make redundant work here as we still use and will use HAP-NodeJS as our main API for HAP so making change in their code would be more relevant in that case.
If it’s already in HAPNodeJS then please open Issue or create PR with exact problem regarding that.
Anyway, thanks! 😃 I am gonna close it now.
