You are not wrong. It is possible both ways either adding manually or if this is removed, we add all plugins from the server/plugins directory to the plugins array. Which is not documented currently.

At current stage, I think this is something advanced to be documented in nuxt docs / server routes but we already have an external link to nitro for read more.
