With the latest RN version 0.52.1 the file to remove is located here: rm node_modules/react-native/local-cli/core/__fixtures__/files/package.json

I found the solution.Delete this file. rm ./node_modules/react-native/local-cli/core/fixtures/files/package.json
Delete file package.json
