ZIP 11215 found in us/ny/erie.json
See original GitHub issueHeya,
I noticed today that a Brooklyn ZIP (11215) is showing up in us/ny/erie.json
.
I tried to dig into the source to check it but I couldn’t navigate that awful mapserver query screen 🤷
Guessing it’s a data bug but it seems odd they would assign a Brooklyn ZIP to their parcel data?

oh weird, it works for me… http://gis2.erie.gov/arcgis/rest/services/ErieCountyNY/MapServer/2/query?where=ZIP%3D'11215'&text=&objectIds=&time=&geometry=&geometryType=esriGeometryEnvelope&inSR=&spatialRel=esriSpatialRelIntersects&relationParam=&outFields=*&returnGeometry=true&returnTrueCurves=false&maxAllowableOffset=&geometryPrecision=&outSR=&returnIdsOnly=false&returnCountOnly=false&orderByFields=&groupByFieldsForStatistics=&outStatistics=&returnZ=false&returnM=false&gdbVersion=&returnDistinctValues=false&resultOffset=&resultRecordCount=&queryByDistance=&returnExtentsOnly=false&datumTransformation=¶meterValues=&rangeValues=&f=html
It looks like
ZIP
refers to the mailing postal code for the property owner, and the property address zip is inLOCALZIP
.Not trescube but I speak a little esri… the “trick” with the query form is to use
1=1
as theWhere
,*
as theOut Fields
and a reasonable number forResult Record Count
. For a specific row, theWhere
could be something likeADDNAME='LEBANON ST' AND ADDNUM=27
, with single quotes on string fields.
