Checklist:-

  • Complete the information below
  • Provide your OGcalsync.log file (see how-to)

OGCS Version: v2.9.5.0 Edition: Installed Sync Direction: O->G

Bug Description
Recurring Meeting Invitation from Different Time Zone isn’t reflected on OGCS. Meeting Originator time zone GMT-6. My settings GMT-5. Meeting is originally set for GMT-5 (EST) 12:00-12:30PM. However. OGCS syncs to Google for 1:00-1:30PM. I’ve restarted the device, Outlook, OGCS. Deleted all meeting entries from Google manually. Have OGCS re-sync. Did this 3 times. Issue still persists.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

  1. Receive Recurring Outlook meeting invite set for different time zone, different than local user.
  2. Push or Manual Sync with OGCS.
  3. Check Google Calendar for meeting entry.

Any other information
On corporate laptop, but working from home without VPN. Sync fails, when connected to VPN. Don’t have Admin privileges, but have Elevated DefendPoint Standard User privileges to install and execute tasks. This has never been an issue with OGCS until now with different timezone invitation. No other issues to speak of.

It’s also weird, I receive many invitations from China and Korea, but no issues. Still no issues.

Could you increase your logging level to FINE and reproduce this issue please?

It is indeed. No worries! Problem still persist. Yes, let me change to fine and report back.
