[BUG] [Source] Twitch: New Follower is not emitting events
See original GitHub issueDescribe the bug The Twitch New Follower event source never appears to emit any events
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- I created 2 Twitch accounts: vunguyenhung and hungvturing
- I created a Source and select hungvturing account, with 1 minute interval
- On the account vunguyenhung, I follow the account hungvturing
- Then I waited 5 minutes, but no events were emitted
- Observing the source log, I saw error logged whenever the source is executed
- Additionally, I can not run
pd dev
on Twitch: New Follower source, even though I have runpd logout
andpd login
again
Expected behavior
- After deploying the source, I should see the initial events (per Danny suggestion here)
- And when I have a new follower on Twitch, I should see a new event emitted with the new follower information

Ok great! Yea go ahead and keep it on the original
twitch
app, and ignore the new developer one.Do you know if there are other sources or actions that we have that require app access tokens?
It looks like we’re going to have to break those components out into a separate app here: https://pipedream.com/apps/twitch_developer_app/
Can you go ahead and make that change as a part of this ticket @luancazarine?
