It would nice to have a community developit/preact channel on Gitter. Additionally a clickable join badge could be added to README.md for easy discovery.

An example badge might look like:

There’s actually already a badge in the readme for it that links there. Might be worth adding one to the website though? screen shot 2018-10-09 at 10 07 47 pm

Hmmm I’m in the Preact slack and I don’t have a developit.ca email address. Are you seeing an error using other email addresses?
