Smee connection errors are unclear
See original GitHub issueI had the following set in my .env
:
WEBHOOK_PROXY_URL=https:/smee.io/CHANNEL
It’ll take you a minute to find the problem (took me 2 days) but there’s only one /
in https://
. This resulted in a stream of errors from Probot, spamming my terminal as it tried to reconnect:
03:13:42.044Z ERROR probot: (type=error)
I would love to add a better error message here. Might even be part of #434, but since this is a brand new error I wanted to surface it in an issue.
