Try changing build.gradle compileOnly to provided here:

https://github.com/react-native-community/react-native-share/blob/7cd906fa2a21b22ef6308f6a67261e514616c1a7/android/build.gradle#L53

File: /react-native-share/android/build.gradle

// Change from:
dependencies {
    compileOnly "com.facebook.react:react-native:${safeExtGet('reactNativeVersion', '+')}"
    implementation "com.android.support:appcompat-v7:${safeExtGet('supportLibVersion', '27.1.0')}"
}

// To:
dependencies {
    provided "com.facebook.react:react-native:${safeExtGet('reactNativeVersion', '+')}"
    implementation "com.android.support:appcompat-v7:${safeExtGet('supportLibVersion', '27.1.0')}"
}

Similar issue here: https://github.com/react-community/react-native-maps/issues/2188#issuecomment-407160458

There are two working solution for this issue

solution 1. easily update gradle version to 3

solution 2. change ./node_modules/react-native-maps/lib/android/build.gradle

compileOnly --> provided implementation --> compile

The simple solution working for me is changing the node_modules.

change (./node_modules/react-native-maps/lib/android/build.gradle)

dependencies {
    provided "com.facebook.react:react-native:${safeExtGet('reactNativeVersion', '+')}"
    provided "com.android.support:appcompat-v7:${safeExtGet('supportLibVersion', '27.1.0')}"
}
