I flag it as wontfix and if I won’t be able to reproduce it on Windows VM, I’ll then just close it.

How to reproduce the issue?

Open the Webcord, simply join in a call and start sharing the screen, watch a screen share or open a large video on Webcord.

What message appears in the console when trying to run the application via cmd.exe (or even the graphically)?

I haven’t tested it yet.

I would also appreciate if you could try to reproduce it under the beta builds.

Tested with beta builds and still crashes.

Also sorry for the delay to respond since this issue is not happening with me (everything is fine and I have the same specs that my friend have, excluding the Windows 7) but with my friend and he doesn’t want to create a GitHub account to report this issue. I will try to see more information about this issue when he goes online.

Just to make sure, this problem occurs on Windows 7 only? I think this is actually an Electron issue, fixed with the commit 187b009 (Electron v16.0.6).

I’ll close it as upstream, I don’t think this is a WebCord specific issue. You can expect it will be fixed with the latest Electron update (since WebCord is always build under the latest minior/patch release – major version is expected to announce some breakage in which case I need to prepare an app for it before releasing a new version),
