Have we deprecated Hawaii layout or not?

I was under the impression we had deprecated the old Hawaii layout system but I see it’s still in the react core package. There’s a note in the .md
files telling consumers to “consider” using Grid instead. Haven’t we deprecated the old layout system? Or is the new strategy to support both of them?

Suggestion:
Pull the hawaii CSS rules out of
ffe-core
and create a new package for them (ffe-layout
or whatever). Make it very clear in the description that this is deprecated and refer to the grid package. That way we can move forwards with it not being a part of core while still allowing legacy codebases where rewriting would be very expensive to keep up to date with new major versions.
With the React components out of the way, should we look at possible strategies for getting rid of the LESS component? It would perhaps be great to hear from those who use it how (and if) they think a migration could be done.
