Auto high DPI scaling doesn't work, nor does manual setting
See original GitHub issueThe Screen Resolution preferences don’t work for me in Windows on a Surface Book 2.
Under:
Tools > Preferences > General > Appearance > Screen resolution
the “enable auto high DPI” setting gets the icons and the code window right, but text in the Spyder UI is too small to read. If click “set a custom high DPI setting,” and type in a number, there’s no number where all text and icons are correctly scaled. Text everywhere in Spyder should get the same scaling, and it should be proportional to the icons. See the screenshot below.
This is with Spyder 4.1.4, as it is after conda upgrade spyder

Hey @mluerig, we’re going to add an option to set the font of the entire interface in Spyder 4.2.2, to be released in mid February.
That should solve this issue too.
I have had issues for a while now with a WQHD display (2560x1440), where nothing I do in the spyder settings seems to have an affect on the font size in the panel headers, but also in the menu: it’s way too big. Not extremely annoying, but I still thought I’d report it here
