Problem Description

When using control + click on the name of a module, Spyder used to open that module in another tab. But for some reason this doesn’t work anymore for me.

What steps reproduce the problem?

Create a script test1.py and save it:

#test1.py
print("a")

In the same folder, create the following script test2.py:

#test2.py
import test1

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Now, when working on test2.py, ctrl+clicking on the word “test1” should open the script test1.py in another tab… but that doesn’t happen as it should be.

Sorry for the answering delay. The workaround of adding the scripts directory in the PYTHONPATH manager is working.
