See original GitHub issueCan we move Kitties Tutorials Images under src/images/tutorials
folder.
Or is there a reason to place them under static folder - as they might need to be linked externally?

I see. I wasn’t aware of the image optimization done by Gatsby.
Actually I would suggest migrating all images (and other static assets) to be under
/static/
. Now with images under/src
, they could only be referenced using relative links and we have to count the../
properly. With assets under/static
you can reference them as/img/tutorials/../..
.Having said that, I don’t think this is a high priority item, but would suggest let’s have static assets placed under
/static
from now on.
