HA Version 2022.5.3 problem with layout card installation

My Home Assistant version: 2022.5.3

Layout-card version 2.4.1:

What I am doing: Installation

What I expected to happen: to see a new view with lovelace layout

Masonry (custom:masonry-layout) Horizontal (custom:horizontal-layout) Vertical (custom:vertical-layout) Grid (custom:grid-layout)

What happened instead: I can only see View types

Masonry (default) Sidebar Panel (1 card)

Minimal steps to reproduce: install HASC, layout-card and reload

I am experiencing the same. Looking at the documentation, which is outdated against the current HA version, I DO see the view types but DON’T see the “take control” dialogue or the additional options upon opening the dashboard for editing.
