Infinite downloading from the mod browser on Linux 0.11.4

Description

Despite the fix provided in 0.11.4 in response to #642, I’m still having issues with the download never happening on Linux. The issue’s fix appeared to address users on proxies, however as many also posted in the thread, we were still having issues despite the fact we aren’t on a proxy.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Download or update any mod from the Mod Browser on Linux.

Expected behavior

There should be progress on the download occurring.

Actual behavior

There is no progress being made on the download.

Reproduction frequency

Always.

Versions

0.11.3 and 0.11.4 both have this issue. I’m not aware if any other ones also have it.

Mods

Even with no mods, this issue occurs.

Additional Information

I’ve tested with the Windows version and have not had this issue while using it. This appears to only affect Linux (no clue if it affects Mac).

I had the same issue on Ubuntu but dfso’s comment on the issue recommending to install Mono fixed it.
