Search promotions order isn't saved

The order of search promotions isn’t saved.
Steps to Reproduce
- Start a fresh project and enable promoted search results
- Go to
/admin/searchpicks/and add a new promoted search result - Fill “Search term(s)/phrase” field with something. Add TWO recommended pages.
- In the description field of the first recommended page type “One”
- In the description field of the second recommended page type “Two”
- Use the arrows to put the second item on top.
- Save.
- Open the just saved item, the order change isn’t saved, “One” is on top.
This is a bug because I expect the order to be saved.
- I have confirmed that this issue can be reproduced as described on a fresh Wagtail project: YES
Technical details
- I used wagtail-gitpod
- I did some digging: JavaScript does reposition the items, but does not set the correct order values in the html.
