Add lossy compression option to gif export
See original GitHub issueVery impressed with the tool, really!
I don’t know if everyone has already considered that but, what do you think about adding a “quality” field for when exporting to gif?
At the moment when exporting to gif the only way to reduce the output size is to make it smaller but sometimes that option is not viable and the results can be really large.
I don’t have extensive knowledge about ffmpeg
but as far as I can tell there isn’t any option that allows to select the compression level. A solution could be to use pornel/giflossy that basically adds a --lossy
flag.
Also from a UI point of view it could be added like that in the editor window along with the existing options.
I don’t know how you feel about adding an external dependency or if anyone else would be interested in having this kind of feature, personally I think it’d be a great feature to have!
