favicon doesn't always render for me in a pinned tab in vivaldi

This is an obscure problem, and I am not sure it’s on Zulip side even, but that’s rather important for me

Basically, this is how a row of pinned tabs in the browser looks for me:

Note that there are two pinned Zulips there! It’s just that favicon for one is broken. I personally rely on favicons to tell me if there are unread messages, so this issue prevents me from noticing unreads.

I don’t know how to reproduce it – it just happens randomly for me, and persists for a long time.

I also use vivaldi, and this is a general problem. I’ve found that favicons will render if you put the tab into a tab stack 😦 so it is some issue with rendering. Would appreciate if you could link the issue/thread you opened against the browser

Yeah, I’ve tried locally setting href on the favicon tab, I see the browser making http request which returns valid svg, but the rendering not updated. Going to re-open against the browser then (though still want to keep you informed: while not apparently Zulip’s fault, it’s a rather big usability issue).
