Steps to reproduce

install 1.38.6
launch Brave
enable Brave News by tapping on Show Brave News, toggling it to On
tap the 3-dots menu
tap Settings
tap Brave News
tap Add source
add this feed: https://planet.mozilla.org/rss20.xml to the Your sources list
tap on Search
wait ♾️

Actual result

Android throws an Application Not Responding (ANR) error.

@stephendonner did you observe any hangs when removing a custom source? I received a report from a user that deleting items also may result in a hang (perhaps only a short one). I was curious if you also observed this.

@mattmcalister @srirambv would one of you mind adding this to https://github.com/brave/internal/issues/849, triaged accordingly? Pretty sure this should be a blocker for ship.
