While NixOS isn’t a standard linux distro, brave worked as expected before 1.28.106
This image shows that as far as I can tell, it won’t detect any gpus whatsoever.
I’m on NixOS and also get this error.
After playing around a bit, I found out that it’s not a problem with the kernel & drivers, but with brave itself.
With Brave 92.1.28.106 it works fine for me, with latest drivers (NVIDIA) and kernel. WIth version 93.1.29.77 however, it doesn’t work anymore. I also couldn’t get Brave to work with the Krernel & Driver versions I used when 92.1.28.106 worked.
Also, Chrome does not have a problem as well. So it’s definitely a regression with Brave.
