A new portability/compatibility emoji ?
See original GitHub issueHello everyone! ❤️ing gitmoji, a truly awesome project!
I’d simply like to discuss on a new portability/compatibility emoji. It’s the only gitmoji I’m missing, and I think it could be a truly nice addition.
One of my use case is when I’m porting Bash scripts to POSIX compliant standards, and I’ve been defaulting to using the :world_map:
🗺️ emoji for myself (as in making the scripts “worldwide”).
I’d really appreciate your opinions on the subject, if the feature is worthy, and what emojis you would be using for this purpose if not using 🗺️ ?
Thanks in advance 👋

For me the refactor concept is not “too wide”
A refactor is a:
That’s the exact use-case for the refactor emoji. It’s not on our side if people use it in a more wider way
Yup, these were the ones I was using until recently. Because I find myself using the ♻️ way too often. So, in order to reduce the situation “what gitmoji should I use now? IDK, so I’ll just use ♻️”, I used my suggestion to better categorize commits.
I admit that on this gitmoji, it is subject to personal view on the concept of gitmojis. I saw on an issue you were discussing about having too specific gitmojis, but I think the refactor spectrum is too wide at the moment.
