Description
Windows Defender is warning that Constellation has an unknown publisher, when running the .bat install file. It displays a message that running this app might put the PC at risk (see attached screenshot). The concern is users may not be willing to proceed past this warning
Suggest investigating the following:
- Does Constellation have a Publisher associated with the software?
- Has the software been registered with Microsoft?
Steps to Reproduce
- Download Constellation for Windows v2.1.1
- Go to Download location and view contents of constellation-win-v2.1.1 zip file
- Run constellation64.bat
Expected behaviour: [What you expect to happen] Install file runs without warning
Actual behaviour: [What actually happens] Warning by Windows Defender Reproduces how often: [What percentage of the time does it reproduce?] 100%, happens the first time it is run and on occasion afterwards, it seems to be if I run an older version of Constellation and then run the latest, Windows Defender warns again.

A few of the links all point to this being just a warning from Windows on all externally downloaded zip files with executable content. The solution is to PURCHASE a EV (Extended validation) certificate for the product.
