I’m in agreement that a release should be made that includes this fix, but I’m indifferent as to whether it’s tagged 8.2.6 or 8.3.0.

Closing this issue, as it has been resolved in v8.2.7/v8.3.1 via c1a81dc83df1950e19a39d936aebc5fa2e911925.
