Examine and explore:
The merging of graph schemas may throw an error. This will cause the handler to fail. This may increase in frequency when Store.getSchema is removed and replaced with operation calls. It Is possible federation will be effected in situation that previously was fine.
Maybe Log the error and return an recognisable default schema or a best efforts schema??
examine the changes required for #2791 for possible issues.
