FancyZones edit zones prompt not showing.

Windows build number: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.18363.720]
PowerToys version: 0.15.1 - 0.16.0
PowerToy module for which you are reporting the bug (if applicable): FancyZones
I am using Rainmeter 90% of the time in the background, and I occasionally use AquaSnap which might affect it.
Steps to reproduce
Unknown. Started happening out of the blue.
Expected behavior
The Edit Zones gui to appear when using the hotkey or pressing the Edit Zones button in the PowerToys settings.
Actual behavior
The Edit Zones gui does not appear. It takes the focus of of the current window, shows the loading animation for the cursor and then re focuses the current window. Moving windows into already assigned layouts still works, but I cannot change the layout.
