Ability to Clear Recent History

What is the user problem or growth opportunity you want to see solved?

In Firefox on iOS, it is possible to delete the recent history and website data from the history page.

How do you know that this problem exists today? Why is this important?

The Delete History button in the history page deletes the entire history and doesn’t offer options to delete only recent history.

For reference, Firefox on iOS offers to delete:

Last Hour
Today
Today and Yesterday

Desktop Firefox offers:

Last Hour
Last 2 hours
Last 4 hours
Today
Everything

Who will benefit from it?

Users who want to discard only parts of their recent history. Also users switching over from iOS, because the feature set is consistent.

It would be great if you could update the design to match the one here in Figma https://www.figma.com/file/gIMXD2wytUs740DAzyLwoR/Clear-history-modal?node-id=0%3A1 You’d need to login (it’s free) and then you should be able to hover or click on elements to get dimensions and color values. Let me know if you have questions!

For the time segments, it would be great if we could follow what we have on iOS and have the following copy:

Clear recent history

The last hour Today Today and yesterday Everything

Cancel Delete

I have started looking at this issue and have implemented something, which is not complete yet.
