See original GitHub issue

Hello Everybody,

I am trying to set oppia on my web-server. I was able to compile it on Centos 7 OS but I ran into GAE issues on whitelist of host domain

I have searched on issues raised on this portal but I could not find any answer or existing or related ones. Please help!

This error occurred recently in production: Standalone/locally installed oppia Google AppEngine: devserver needs to be modified but I do not know where I could make changes in oppia. I have went through files but unable to locate those setting. Please help!

Add error logs here.

@sanyaade-teachings, You can use the --save_datastore command to save the data. (see here) But I’m not sure how reliable that would be, so make sure to backup your data before restarting the server.

This app is made to run on the PAAS Google app engine and I think this would run best on that.

@DubeySandeep :

Many thanks for getting back to me and for your advise and support.

My interest is to study oppia and its component parts like skulpt, nodejs, including the clojure and more… Also I do run a server at home for research purpose which PaaS will defeat those objectives to learn oppia technologies.

I will try out --save_datastore and also look into other commands and learn more on adapting those commands.

I will those you mentioned and feedback to you.

Once again, many thanks for your support and encouragement. Much appreciated!

God blesses!!!

Best regards, Sanyaade
