See original GitHub issueHello, I have a question, how you can download photos from private accounts on Twitter, you need to generate an API key or something. I have a problem because I would like to download things from this link and the person has a private account and this can not be overcome. Anyone advice something.

twitter.auth = base64( {API key}:{API secret key} )
there is “:” between API key and secrit key
Thank you ! It actually works when putting the base64 value of the API key and the API secret key, separated by a semicolon. The documentation should be updated to reflect this… because it’s not written anywhere.
However I have the same problem as you, it fails to download private account media.
