SAI 2.0.3 with SCK 1.4 logging component infinite loop?
See original GitHub issueI’ve got SAI 2.0.3 installed on a SHC. I downloaded the kubernetes_connect_template.yaml from Splunk and the deploy_sck_k8s.sh (from SAI 2.0.3). I completed the kubernetes_connect_template.yaml.
Then I downloaded SCK 1.4 release TAR.GZ via releases tab here. I extracted the tar, ran the recommended CLI from SAI 2.0.3 output and it started SCK 1.4 via HELM.
The issue is that the logging pods appear to be in an infinite loop.
I run this command: kubectl -n splunk logs sck-14-splunk-kubernetes-logging-4h5kx
I get output like this that goes on forever.

The objects and metrics are reporting in correctly. The logging part is just messed up.
kubectl -n splunk logs sck-14-splunk-kubernetes-metrics-58sws (the output is good information and doesnt go on forever) 2020-04-02 21:21:22 +0000 [info]: #0 fluentd worker is now running worker=0
Why does this appear to be happening with SCK 1.4?

slayed the istio dragons! blog is back.
closing issue since for containerd + kubernetes you need to change the kubernetes_connect.yaml to use cri log format.
containers: logFormatType: cri logFormat: "%Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%S.%N%:z"
