Responsabilities:
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Lead and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting across all subsidiaries.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and manage global tax filings in compliance with GAAP and local regulatory requirements.
- Conduct variance analysis, track key SaaS financial metrics, oversee financial audits, and ensure data integrity across all entities.
- Budget planning and monitoring, ensuring financial alignment with business goals and operational needs.
- Work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and outsourced accounting firms to ensure compliance with global and local financial regulations.
Subsidiary & Financial Operations Management
- Manage financial operations across multiple global entities, ensuring proper reporting and compliance in each jurisdiction.
- Oversee relationships with local outsourced accounting firms, ensuring efficient financial processes and compliance with local tax laws.
- Provide financial oversight for international subsidiaries, including cash flow management, reporting, and reconciliation.
Process & Systems Optimization
- Drive automation and efficiency in financial processes and reporting.
- Implement and optimize NetSuite or other ERP systems to streamline accounting operations.
- Establish and improve internal controls and financial policies.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor an Assistant Controller or a small finance team, ensuring professional development and operational excellence.
- Work cross-functionally with legal, HR, and business units to support financial decision-making.
Requirements:
- CPA certification – Mandatory.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Controller, preferably in a high-tech company or startup.
- Experience in a startup environment – Advantage.
- Strong understanding of equity and cap table management – Advantage.
- Hands-on experience managing financial operations across multiple global entities.
- Experience with NetSuite (or similar ERP systems).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring finance teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, scaling environment and drive financial process improvements.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to senior leadership.
